hda Executive Coaching Masterclass 14th November 2007
Coaching in organisations: Why be satisfied with only a win-win? HDA Associates Ltd presents a highly interactive workshop. Whether you are a HR Director, Senior Business Executive, CEO or COO, this event will help you maximise the value of your coaching programmes. Coaching is about three parties achieving successful outcomes: the person being coached; the organisation they work for; and the coach themselves. This last area is usually overlooked when judging coaching success but when combined with the first two, it adds significant value to the process. So the most successful coaching outcome for everyone should be to achieve a Win-Win-Win. Focus area: Using a combination of lecture style input, case studies, facilitation and team coaching we will explore some or all of the following themes: o When is coaching essential, useful, or even destructive!? o What triggers the need for coaching in organisations? o Is there a difference between ‘developmental coaching’ and ‘talent coaching’ o What does ‘success’ look and feel like from an individual perspective, organisational and a coach’s? o The role of HR as a ‘gatekeeper’ – when does it work and when does it not work? o A peek inside the coach’s toolkit and a practical demonstration of the ‘Stakeholder Map’ and ‘Congruence Model’ Key Themes: · Obtaining more value from coaching and how to audit the effectiveness of an organisation’s current coaching programme · The success of coaching has been well researched from an individual perspective (the person being coached) and to some extent from an organisational viewpoint but rarely have these two perspectives been combined with a third element – that of the coach themselves. HDA believes that combining these three ‘success definitions’ can significantly raise the quality of coaching at all levels and create a Win-Win-Win alignment which enhances the value of coaching for everyone involved. · A unique insight to the coach’s toolkit and practical demonstrations of two simple but powerful tools that you can try out back at the office Event Details: Venue: No.1 Poultry, Times: 09.00 -13.00 Price: £75pp + VAT Key Speaker: Kate, a senior consultant and executive coach at HDA, has over ten years’ experience working as an HR professional.
