Client Feedback Audit
HDA is a Human capital consultancy with experience in outplacement at all levels (across the UK and internationally) for almost 30 years; developing a reputation for a strong outcomes-focused approach. As part of our sustained commitment to refining and developing our services and capabilities, we recently undertook a client feedback survey in March/April 08, including a sample of active or recently active individual clients, (circa 200 clients at all levels) to establish their views and opinions about their experience of their HDA Outplacement programme
From the active/recently active client population sampled, we received a 45% response rate, which is largely consistent with the response rates of previous surveys we have conducted – career transition being a difficult time for many and/or a time of narrow focus for others, including those seeking a new role and those who have recently commenced new roles and are seeking to make an impact. Of these responses, 66% were telephonic responses and 34% email responses.
Headlines of the Survey

96% of clients are satisfied or very satisfied with the programme
- 2% expressed some dissatisfaction with elements of the programme, all of which were subsequently corrected and expressed satisfaction.
- 2% Unhappy with overall programme fit to their needs or by service shortcomings.
- The 1:1 meetings with the consultant, and the support in drafting CVs, were seen as the most valuable part of the programme.
- The workshops were perceived as making a significant contribution.
- For many people it had been a long time since they were in the labour market and they felt that the HDA programme offered them a way forward.
- A valuable part of the HDA contribution was that it allowed the client to bring a closure to their previous employment.
- The pragmatism of the HDA consultants, and their ability to focus as well as guide, enabled them to gain control of the situation rather than just to drift into unknown territory.
