HDA Outcomes Focused Employee Engagement Surveys
Monitoring employee engagement is a key tool for managing talent within your organisation. Simply put, the more motivated and engaged your employees, the more committed to your organisation they will be; striving for continuous improvements both in their role and the organisation as a whole.
HDA has developed the HDA 9 Box Matrix© Team Engagement survey, which sets out to ‘pulse test’ the degree to which people across the organisation are ‘engaged’ with the objectives of the organisation, and the degree to which there are any specific factors across the organisation which need to be managed to improve associate engagement levels.
As we often find that most survey providers fail the organisations they work with by providing measurement and analysis, but without a sensible consultancy approach for ensuring that survey results can be turned into sensible actions for the business, the HDA approach allows organisations to measure nine key areas of staff engagement, with a view to achieving practical survey outputs which can be closely managed to achieve improvement in areas key to organisations working with us.

A good employee engagement survey leads to actions, and this is in keeping with HDA’s strong outcomes-focused approach which it applies to all areas of its consultancy. Our approach is about identifying manageable issues which can be constructively dealt with – it is not about measuring opinion, or creating metrics, or creating benchmarks in the first instance.For this reason, the survey process is not overly complex, and it is intended that the results of the survey are capable of being followed up in a managed, systematic fashion.
