Jerry Roest joins HDA as Senior Adviser to the HDA Leadership Team

 

HDA is delighted to announce that Jerry Roest has been appointed as senior adviser to the HDA leadership team, in addition to his activities as a senior Board-level coach in HDA's Talent / Coaching team. See more here.

Jerry has 20 years experience as MD and CEO, developing and growing both business-to-consumer and business-to-business businesses in the e-Commerce, IT, telecoms & multi-media / publishing industries in the UK and internationally; including running venture capital  / private equity funded businesses, together with having significant City fund raising experience.

Jerry has previously been a major influence across Europe in the commercial development of the Internet and Broadband; operationally at Pearson plc, CompuServe, and NTL, and as a consultant on Broadband to the Prime Minister.

In addition to Jerry's current activities with HDA, he continues to have an active current interest in various commercial ventures.

According to HDA's CEO, Clayton Glen, 'I have previously reported to Jerry when he was CEO at Shazam Entertainment, when I had accountability for HR and infrastructure in the earliest start up stages of the business, and I learned a good deal from him in this high-speed environment, as the business shifted gears to the next stage of its commercial development; monetising a leading-edge technology. I am delighted to be working with him again at HDA as we seek to shift HDA's consultancy business up a few gears over the coming period.'
