Group Programmes
HDA works with organisations to specifically tailor group support to meet the budgetary constraints of organisations we work with whilst ensuring that the specific and varied needs of employees are met at all levels, and at dispersed locations, in the UK and internationally.
Group programmes can be facilitated onsite at the client organisation or at HDA offices. Typical group support elements which we bring to bear subject to corporate client needs include:
- Staff Overview Sessions to explain the support package available, (often this includes complementary support by HDA, support by third party resources (eg. local employment agencies), and support by the employer
- Critical Time Counselling to support managers and affected staff on the day that roles are placed at risk or on the day that redundancy announcements are made
- Breaking-the-News Training for managers to prepare managers for the sometimes difficult job of announcing at-risk roles and/or redundancies
- Onsite resource centres which provide onsite access to a broad range of onsite support elements, (usually at or near to client sites) including:
- one-to-one career consultancy support on an appointment-based and drop-in basis
- access to online consultants
- workshop attendance
- assessment
- access to local employment
- access to local sources of financial and jobsearch support
- visits by local companies and recruiters
- Online resource centres which provide access to comprehensive online resources, including:
- an online programme
- online self-assessment tools
- advertised and unadvertised vacancies
- comprehensive resources supporting personal job search, career change, self-employment and business start-up needs
