OUR SERVICES
Large-scale Redundancy Manager and ‘Survivor’ Support
Why we work in this area
- HDA has worked in this area for almost 30 years, with significant success supporting organisations to manage both large-scale and case-by-case redundancy situations
- When commissioned to support those who are leaving organisations with outplacement support from HDA, we are often asked how we can support managers to manage redundancy situations, and to provide support to those indirectly affected by the restructuring of the organisation
- Supporting organisational leadership to effectively manage redundancy situations builds leadership confidence, and confidence in leadership
- Maintaining a level of engagement with indirectly affected staff aids in the development of trust, wellbeing and key skills retention during and after redundancy situations, and improves the ability of staff to cope with the disruption of change, and illustrates that the organisation is making an enhanced effort to support the wellbeing of the "survivors" of recent restructuring.
