Why we work in this area

HDA has worked in the area for almost 30 years, with significant success supporting organisations to manage both large-scale and case-by-case redeployment situations.

Organisations rationalizing their businesses increasingly recognize that the redeployment of those with partially or fully transferable skills is often a superior alternative to redundancy and re-hiring, from cost, re-training and staff morale perspectives – redeployment is cheaper than redundancy and re-hiring.

Organisations often ask us to help them to encourage affected staff to compete for internal roles in new disciplines or at new levels, and our career consultancy expertise places us in an excellent position to support people in both their decision making and their preparation for redeployment opportunities, including setting up internal skills clearing house facilities.
