Patricia Dicks – Chairman

Tricia is Executive Chairman of HDA, and a Founder of CNI, our international partnership. In addition to her business leadership role, Tricia brings her training as a psychologist to HDA; often participating on past HDA projects in a senior consultancy role, where she was an experienced executive-level networker, executive career coach, trainer and facilitator. She has had particular success placing senior clients across all sectors and in most industries; both in the UK and internationally. In her current role she is focused on Board-level and strategic matters.

Brief Career History & Experience

Tricia was an original founder of HDA in 1979, having previously worked for Rank Xerox, Bowater Scott, Coopers & Lybrand and the P&O Group in Europe and North America. At P&O she initially held market research roles, and subsequently took on responsibility as the Group Development Advisor for mergers and acquisitions. In addition to her core business leadership role, Tricia has brought her training as a psychologist to HDA.

Ling is Managing Director and looks after the day to day operations and execution of services and previously held positions at Capita Group, Pilat HR solutions and Hays.

Ling started her career in the Education sector whilst seconded to the Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) in the Education Department in Malaysia.  For nearly 2 decades now, she has worked closely with Senior Executives on a one-to-one basis in the areas of research, company start-ups and formulation, management buy-outs (MBOs) and mergers and acquisitions (M & A).

Ling has significant experience in the HR consultancy space, having most recently been Head of Assessment & Development at Capita People Development. Prior to her time at Capita, she was with ICM Career Care, CEDAR International Plc, Hays HR Consulting and then with Pilat, an HDA strategic partner.

Our Career Management Team (covering Career Transition/Outplacement Services, and Career Reviews) comprises of 40 Career Coaches and trainers, and 2 ‘Online’ Career Coaches specifically offering email and telephone support.
All of the team have significant commercial experience, and an extensive range of skills and knowledge to both guide and coach individuals through to achieving their career goals in both one-to-one and group formats.

Our Leadership & Talent Management team consists of 30 experienced business consultants, coaches and facilitators; all with significant commercial experience and superior track records as senior leadership developers and organisational change facilitators.
